Untitled Altered rehearsal photos

Oscillating between sculpture and dance, Untitled Altered explores the binary of object/subject by problematizing the relationship of observer-creator. By allowing observers to create their own temporal and spatial relationships to the performative process, this performed installation brings the observer into the role of creator. By following the protocols of a restrictive movement score, Kelly Dalrymple-Wass limits the range of her movement potential while simultaneously interrogating those limits to find an ever-expanding palette of possibilities.
